Saturday: Create Your Own Colorwork Hat, 10:30 to 12:30. First of two sessions. $40 plus supplies. Learn the basics of two-color knitting while creating your own charted hat pattern.  Contact the store for registration information.

Bias Lace Scarf, 1 to 3. First of two sessions. $40 plus supplies. This is a great introduction to simple lace knitting. The scarf creates diagonal stripes using self-striping yarn and knitting on the bias. Prerequisites: Must be able to knit and purl. Contact the store for registration information.

Sculpting with felting needles, 3:30 to 5:30. $35 includes a felting kit to take home. This easy and fun technique requires no experience. Make your own animal figurine as you learn how to turn fleece into solid shapes. Contact the store for registration information.

Sunday:  Learn to Knit for Kids (and Parents, Too), 3 to 5 p.m. $20 plus supplies. Together we'll learn the basic knit stitch and get started on an easy project. Contact the store for registration information.
